Artist and fashion designer of a sort. I'm just a quirky girl from Los Angeles. Born and raised in SoCal, I have a soft spot in my heart for this shit hole city. Basically, this translates to scraping by by the skin of my teeth because this city is so Gods aweful expensive, trying to live life to the fullest without turning to credit cards. On my good weeks, I get to hit up my favorite goth/industrial clubs, try not to drink myself silly, dance myself silly, cook healthy foods (fish!), go out to the best sushi places this city has to offer (more fish!), explore museums and whatever else strikes my fancy. On the broke weeks (rent, ouch), I'm still cooking and playing LOTS of video games, hanging out with friends typically playing board games. I'm a huge geek like that. =D
I spent 2007 traveling the country with my partner. I went into debt. I gained far too much weight, my health went downhill. Midwest and east coast food will do that to ya, when you're broke, they'll really do that to ya. I learned I'm without a doubt a city girl and I now have big plans for NYC in the likely distant future. I had so many panic attacks I've lost count but I wouldn't trade the world for that eye opening experience. I'm still working on getting my life back in order. It's a process but starting over new, although intimidating as hell, is also very exciting and refreshing.
Bitchy, lacking a brain to mouth filter, honest to a fault, bitter and jaded, overly sexual and likely far too open for many people. I swear too much, drink too much, complain too much and an in love with life regardless of my whining. I'm rediscovering my inner health nut, so if you like lots of healthy recipes or even the "I'm too broke to afford anything but ramen, what can I throw together with what I have?!" kind of experiments, this is it.
